We try to:

use the most precise locality, neighbourhood, quarter, waterfront and venue name available;
distinguish Gloucester city centre, Cathedral Quarter, Historic Docks, Kingsholm, Tredworth, Barton, Quedgeley and the surrounding settlements;
distinguish Gloucester City Council from Gloucestershire County Council and neighbouring authorities;
identify the exact geography of Gloucester Cathedral, Historic Docks, Gloucester Quays, Kingsholm, Gloucester Station and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital;
distinguish ordinary-day travel from rugby, docks-event, cathedral, festival and countryside conditions;
check live information against official or first-party sources;
identify opinion, sponsored content, affiliate content and advertising clearly;
avoid unsupported rankings, stereotypes and claims about communities;
use first-hand experience only where it genuinely happened;
correct material errors promptly;
treat businesses, residents and contributors fairly.

We do not turn Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds or the Severn Vale into Gloucester-only facts. We do not describe Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Forest of Dean, South Gloucestershire or Bristol venues as Gloucester venues by default. We do not flatten cathedral, docks, river, industrial and residential geographies into one generic historic city.
